SIT AND ENJOY THE LAKE OR GET OUT THERE AND MIX IT UP… IT’S YOUR CHOICE, BUT MOST OF OUR GUESTS DO A LITTLE OF BOTH.

Beaches
Let’s start with the beautiful sandy beach available exclusively to Wapato Point owners and guests. The resort is on an island-like peninsula surrounded by water on 3 sides, and almost the full length of the down lake side facing Chelan, is a sandy beach, with a large area roped off for swimming. See property map.

Whether you like building sand castles or floating in the water, you can relax with your family in the roped off area dedicated to non-motorized water fun. Just a couple of friendly reminders: our swim area is roped off but we do not have a lifeguard on duty; it is your responsibility to look after the welfare of your child around the water. Also, the Lake Chelan sun is very hot and it is recommended that all of our guests use sun screen to protect themselves.

Non-Motorized Water Sport
Visit the KIOSK, our recreation center, conveniently located on the beach next to the miniature golf course, to rent a range of non-motorized water craft including kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and pedal boats.

It’s a great opportunity to see the awe inspiring scenery surrounding Wapato Point while getting a little exercise at the same time. And who doesn’t love to paddle?

Power Boats
One of the major attractions at Wapato Point is boating on Lake Chelan. We have both buoys and dock moorage available for our guests on both sides of the Point. (See Resort Map)

All boats are launched from the public launch, about a mile and a half away, and trailers may be safely stored on-site at Wapato Point. Don’t worry if you don’t have a boat you may rent one from Shoreline Rentals, conveniently located on property.

How you spend time on your boat while you’re here is largely up to you, and you will be spoiled for choice. If you plan to water ski we have ski floats conveniently located on both sides of the Point. Just remember to utilize the floats as there is a no wake zone of 500′ off shore for safety purposes per Chelan County Regulations.

Jet Skis
Who doesn’t want to jet ski on Lake Chelan? From Wapato Point, once you clear the no wake zone, there is wide open space to go full throttle or work on your skills. The one thing that we can guarantee is that you will have fun; whether it is riding by yourself or with a partner or two.

Don’t worry if you don’t have one of your own, they also can be rented from Shoreline Rentals, conveniently located on property; age restrictions apply.
